Our research group, GESA, brings together the work of researchers and students of the Centro Nacional Patagónico (CENPAT), Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) in Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Argentina.

Our research deals with different topics related to the conservation, the sustainable exploitation, and the management of freshwater living resources of Patagonia, with an emphasis on communities colonized by populations and species of exotic anadromous Salmonids (those that perform a migration to the ocean at some time during their life cycle).
